Who We Help

We provide services throughout south central Missouri, through the agencies that we support.

United Way of South Central Missouri funds the following 20 partner agencies:

Each one of these organizations provides a support role in our — your community; alcohol and drug prevention and intervention; a voice for abused children in court; a safe place for a mother to take her children when the abuse at home has become too much; a mentor matching program for children who have no mentors in their life; family development; emergency services; a location for a senior citizen to go where they don’t feel lonely; training for girls and boys so they learn leadership and basic life skills; diabetes management education and medical and dental care for families that, because of a lack of money, would not normally seek services.
